Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern every purchase made through Solvine Market, the online store of Solvine Law (“we”, “us”). By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.

1.What you are buying

Solvine Market sells downloadable legal document packages (“Packages”). Each Package is a set of professionally drafted template documents together with plain-language guidance notes, delivered electronically as a download link sent to the email address you provide at checkout. Nothing physical will be shipped to you.

2.Your licence

When your purchase is complete, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Package for your own personal purposes. For Packages designed for more than one person — such as the married couple will package, the lease agreement, or the roommate agreement — the licence extends to the parties completing that document together.

Under this licence you may complete, adapt, print, and sign the documents for your own use. You may not share, redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or make the Packages (or any part of them) available to anyone else, whether for payment or free of charge. All copyright and other intellectual property in the Packages remains with Solvine Law.

3.Templates, not legal advice

Packages are professionally drafted templates. They are not legal advice, and purchasing a Package does not create a lawyer-client relationship between you and Solvine Law. While the documents are drafted with care, no template fits every situation. You are responsible for ensuring a Package is suitable for your circumstances. If your situation is complex — for example blended families, business or foreign assets, or an existing dispute — we strongly recommend having the completed document reviewed by a lawyer in your jurisdiction before signing.

Legal documents often have strict signing and witnessing requirements. Follow the signing instructions included in your Package carefully; a document that is not executed properly may not be valid.

4.Delivery and download limits

Your download link is delivered by email promptly after payment is confirmed. Links are limited-use: after a set number of download attempts, the link stops working. Please save your files to your own computer or storage immediately after downloading.

If you experience a genuine technical problem — the email doesn’t arrive, the download fails, or the files won’t open — contact us at admin@solvinelaw.ca and we will restore your access or otherwise make it right.

5.Prices, payment, and taxes

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and do not include tax. Applicable taxes, including HST, are added at checkout. Checkout and payment processing are handled by our e-commerce provider, Payhip, and your payment details are processed by its payment partners — we do not see or store your card information.

6.Refunds and cancellation

Because Packages are digital content delivered immediately, all sales are final once your download link has been used. By purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by the law of your place of residence, you waive any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right for digital content once delivery has begun.

This does not affect your rights where the content is defective: if your files are corrupted, incomplete, or not as described, contact us at admin@solvinelaw.ca and we will replace them or refund you.

7.Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any Package is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of a Package, including use of a document that was not appropriate for your circumstances or was not properly executed.

8.General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
